The Falcon Capital team has a unique perspective to real estate investing by combining our expertise in the appraisal industry with being active investors. We constantly analyze and monitor the real estate market by leveraging the data, resources, and market characteristics gained through more than 30 years of commercial appraisal experience. Furthermore, Rikki’s background on the limited partner side of transactions was to verify what the general partner or promoter presented to investors was accurate. This allows us to have a different mindset in how we look at and analyze properties from an investor-first perspective. Falcon Capital ensures we conduct conservative underwriting and acquire assets in sub-markets with population and job growth, ultimately making informed decisions before presenting to investors.
Founding Principles
Falcon Capital was founded on the principles of integrity, transparency, accountability, and excellence. We believe in the power of partnerships and that investing, like life, is based on relationships. We are invested in real estate for the long-term and view our relationship with each investor as a long-term trusted partnership along the same wealth-building journey. The team at Falcon Capital wanted to provide an avenue for investors to be able to leverage our experience and research to generate long-term wealth through real estate without having to worry about whether the stewards of their investment were being transparent. Every member of the Falcon Capital team has been burned in one way or another by a promoter or sales representative in the Real Estate investment space either through a lack of communication, hidden fees, or incomplete information. At Falcon Capital Real Estate, our character and our name are our currency, that means celebrating successes and owning mistakes. There are no hidden fees or changes in return structure once a “target return” is achieved. We invest along-side you in each deal and are thrilled to walk this journey together, because we believe that it’s impossible to ask someone to invest in a deal if we aren’t willing to invest our own money. Rikki Jäck
Rikki's career began at a Cape Town-based firm where he sold turnkey buy-to-rent single-family residential properties across the U.S (with us in fact). He quickly climbed the ranks to a partnership position as the group opened a new division to syndicate medical office buildings in Georgia, USA. From there, Rikki branched out to multifamily apartment syndications and has since been responsible for sourcing deal flow and facilitating due diligence on multiple projects for multifamily investment companies, totaling more than $350M. He is also a partner in Kay Finance, a capital advisory firm which has originated debt & equity in excess of $2.5B.
Richard Kenny
Richard is constantly aware of the market as a real estate investor and appraiser, and is one of the co-founders of Falcon Capital, playing a pivotal role in the analysis, due diligence, and relationship side of the business. Richard is a former United States Air Force officer graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy, received his MBA from Liberty University, and is on the board of the Alpharetta Rotary Club. Richard specialized in government contract administration and management during his time in the Air Force. As a Candidate for Designation of the Appraisal Institute, Richard continues to expand his appraisal skills and is pursuing MAI and SRA designations.
Doug Kenny
Doug Kenny is a highly experienced real estate appraiser with expertise in commercial and special-use properties. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Industrial Engineering and received the Georgia Tech Tower Award for academic excellence while playing on the tennis team. Doug has continued to expand his appraisal skills through ongoing education and is one of the youngest to have earned the professional designation of MAI from the Appraisal Institute. His engineering background enables him to incorporate advanced statistical analysis into each appraisal report. At Falcon Capital, Doug plays a vital role in ensuring due diligence and effective communication with investors, while also contributing to the development of well-structured capital stacks.
Rick Kenny
Rick Kenny has over 30 years of experience in appraising commercial, residential, and special-use properties. Rick graduated from Florida State University with a degree in real estate and marketing and has worked in both the private sector and with government entities. In 1991, he founded Kenny and Associates, Inc. and earned the MAI and SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute. Rick is also a qualified expert witness and has taught courses on real estate appraisal. He is a member of the Appraisal Institute and the Atlanta Board of Realtors®. As Chairman of Falcon Capital, Rick oversees the Group's business, focusing on strategic matters and ensuring high governance standards.
